A short story about me
At age 15, I joined forces with a handyman, then the next year a painter. My boss eventually asked me to take over a lucrative subcontract where HOA fees guaranteed regular exterior paint jobs. So, I started my own show, painting through summers in high school. I continued painting in the summers during college while studying Business Administration at Colorado State University. I also worked at a paint store: learning about coatings, applications, and color matching (before the fancy machines they have now). Upon graduation, I worked a short stint in Finance, then for a residential remodeling company doing estimates and book-keeping, then seventeen years in higher education, before I traded stability for paint-stained clothes bringing Andy's Painting back to life.
